rant: I hate cutesy push notifications from local news. Every time I get one, it makes me want to go and find whoever decided to push it and slap the botox out of their forehead and/or kick them in the nuts. They are such as breach of trust.
Also, Paul is in a mood now.
@Jason844 This was a weather related post and at the end of the first "cute" sentence in the push notification was a significant, dangerous weather warning...
This is from the same local news station that decided a decade or so ago when they got a decent mobile app that if would be appropriate to push the photo and name of every person getting their high school graduation diploma, in real time, at the school they decided to cover that year... It was ridiculous.
