Have ordered two more shelves and some more totes from my local hardware store.

The Great Unfuckening Part 2 shall commence. Current goal/thoughts is to corral the various craft things from kiddo's room into totes which are then stored on shelves.

Originally I wanted to keep my sewing stuff set up in that room but I am feeling like that is not practical, actually. So rather than large craft tables, their room will have shelves.

My sewing stuff will relocate downstairs, and I will set up the folding table in the living room when I want to do a project. It's far from ideal, but it's better than what I have now.

With better storage my hope is we'll all breathe a little easier. In previous editions of the Unfuckening any time we've invested some $$ into proper solutions it's paid out well. I'm hopeful this will be the same.

The other major component of this project will be relocating some storage from our bedroom to other places, so that the bedroom can store more of my current hobbies (paint and sketch stuff as well as fibre arts project bags)

My brain functions best with bins/totes for stuff. Corralling the chaos into containers is a huge win to me.

@MsHearthWitch a favourite fantasy book of mine has a whole chunk devoted to a person setting up a new living space, and putting all their projects into individual baskets. That level of organisation is my comfort read.
@merialc I love that so much! What book is it?

It's the middle of a trilogy, but I'm not even sure how much sense they make outside of the lore of the gazillion other books. 😆

Owlsight (Owl Mage Trilogy, #2)

It has been four years since Darian saw his village sac…

@merialc That fair, I mean I'm always on the lookout for new fantasy books to read!
