So, finally got my Signalling Designer licence, only 2 years overdue. The promised promotion on gaining it isn't likely to materialise though due to the current hiring ban. And then last week a request comes from management to transfer me to a special project for which I'm "the only person in the company who has the right skills" to do it... If they believe that, then they can move me off the "Assistant" job title ffs.
Promoted today, but still being paid £3000 less than less experienced colleagues who started at the same time as me...
And I'm fully expecting that the 10% promotion raise won't include the 3.1% annual raise that was announced yesterday widening the gap even further...
Turns out they didn't even give the 10% recommended by the departmental director...
