why does long pressing the timer on the iOS control center timer default to a 10 minute and 30 second time? we have never once set this time
it has gone from 30 minutes to 21 minutes with no fucking explanation of what makes it change, i am fully baffled
like at least 30 and 21 are times weve set, but, we want the long press to set fucking 5 minutes by default, always??‽??
update on this it decided to remember the two hours and ten minutes timer we set once from the main timer screen and never again, and we have never once seen it remember the fucking five minute timer we set fucking constantly

still astounded by this, it is still stuck thinking that a long press on the timer widget should be the two-hour and ten minute timer

like, what the fuck, man

update on this it has now decided to fixate on a 15-minute plus 1-second timer that we accidentally set once
fucking Finally it has deigned to longpress remember the 5-minute timer! we have no idea what triggered this, and we have no idea how long it's going to last!
@atax1a every once in a while we consider switching to apple and then we see shit like this and we're good for another couple of years
@tully we switched from android because we got tired of sysadmining our phone, also the mod scene had far too many people who would rawdog random binaries off of sketchydownloads.ru
It's astonishing how badly iOS has screwed up their timer app of all extremely basic things to get wrong. The alarm app is nearly as bad, at least they let users set snooze length now.
@anarchicaesthete.bsky.social i just. ive never wanted a scrollable history of past timers. why is that even there. we want a default timer of fucking 5 minutes! not a default that picks random timers we that randomly set!
