@philsherry The peppiness was killing me. My agents file now tells him to have a sardonic wit and to ask more questions at any opportunity, rather than marching ahead without any clue. We're quite far away from our jobs being in danger just yet

@jamiefdhurst I used to instruct mine that it thought it was a spy from Telford but he didn't like to tell people about it, just to amuse myself.

I understand things like context windows and not stretching them too far, but seriously, it’s a fucking dickhead most of the time. And I've got plenty of instructions and prompts in place.

Me: “Do [Thing]”
Claude: “Sure, let’s get on that.”
Me: “Okay then… go on?”
Claude: *goes on a rampage doing the wrong thing and gets rate-limited*
Me: _sigh_
