@Sci_Fi_FanGirl Argh... Gender affirming health care has very low regret rates, detransitioning is extremely rare. But - yes, this case will make it harder for everyone. As if the political landscape wasn't bad enough as it is for transgender people. And it plays right into the TERF argument "but they are minors, how could they possibly know?"

It's worth noting that this was a jury decision, so this is very likely the result of the current political climate in the US. I assume that this legal fight will go to the next instance but whether it will change anything is an open question...
