4 February 1925 | A French Jewish woman, Ginette Kolinka (née Cherkasky), was born in Paris.

She was deported to #Auschwitz from Drancy in April 1944. She was transferred to Bergen-Belsen and then to #Theresienstadt. She survived.
Today she turns 101.

@auschwitzmuseum I hope her story has been documented in words and video. Too many want to deny the Holocaust. I think it is an attempt to avoid feeling guilty and, more darkly, so they can run the same gameplan in the future. Never again.
@Thorium @auschwitzmuseum Lots of books, lots of documents, she visits relentlessly schools & co and accompanied teenagers to Auschwitz so many times.
She is a wonderful lady. And a very precious witness.
