The ruin remains of the Falcon Works Pottery factory in Hanley, Stoke-On-Trent.

Originally built in the 1890s, the site housed five kiln ovens arranged around a central courtyard. It began with earthenware, later producing fine porcelain and hotel wares. At its peak, 200 people worked here.

The site closed around 2000. Recently, it was demolished (the legality of which is undergoing investigation!)

@ObsidianUrbex it's a shame so many pot banks have been demolished in Stoke
@howisyourdog
Aye can't be many left now, sadly
@ObsidianUrbex I'm not familiar with the Falcon Works, even though I lived in Newcastle for many years. Maybe they were doing more hotel ware in the later years which would be why I'd not heard of them...?
@AndyIncarnate
Aye they did switch to hotel ware, right before going bust sadly 💙
