I switched the RStudio cmd + shift + m shortcut from " %>% “ to “|>" recently and wondered in what situations this is problematic.

@steveroyle Note that the comparison contains mistakes: “some functions are not supported” is incorrect, you just need to add parentheses:

1:3 |> (`+`)(4)

… and the point about creating functions is disingenuous since R now has a dedicated syntax for lambdas.
