Enafore.social has been giving me a lot of trouble recently. Maybe it's not playing nice with LibreWolf and/or Fedora?

Can anyone recommend another instance, Pinafore fork, or web app I can try? Or a GNU/Linux app other than Tuba (which is OK but I find it a bit awkward to use).

@strypey I think elk.zone is a good web client (and it works with gotosocial too, not just mastodon)

I've tried Elk, found it a bit cludgy to use. But that was some time ago, maybe time I revisited it.

@strypey I still like Phanpy the best. Seems fine with Librewolf.

this is new to me, thanks for the tip : )

@strypey Ah. Nice. Check out the catchup feature, and I like the way it groups the boosts.

Oooh, nice. A new way to drink from the firehose : P

> I like the way it groups the boosts

Pinafore and it's various forks have had that feature for a while. I really wish @moshidon did that.

@strypey second vote for elk.zone here. It just works.

Thanks for the recommendations, see;

I had a go at Phanpy last night on @pre's recommendation, which isn't perfect, but works pretty well.

@strypey @PurpleJillybeans have you tried Tokodon? That’s been the only other desktop Linux app that seems decent for fedi.

Also if you want an old Twitter web-like experience, use your masto login on elk.zone

I haven't, thanks for the tip.
