It always seems to me that the dangers of paddlesport are overstated

Of these 9 were paddlesport, while 10 were people in cars!
By far the biggest group is walkers.
Meanwhile the risks of mental health crisis is vastly under rated - as many people died of suicide in the water as all the accidental drownings.
