As I noticed my attention span and mood dropping, I decided to do an experiment on myself and see how this will affect me.

Introducing #FocusFebruary!

This month, I will stop all endless scrolling, playing stupid games on my phone and other short-span activities with thoughtful, deeper activities.

Will you join me? Read on for my plan this month (1/2)

This month I will:

- Practice chess whenever I feel the urge to kill time (doom-)scrolling on social media (shout-out to @lichess). I allow myself 15 minutes a day on Mastodon as it doesn't 'suck you in' like other social media
- Read a paper book for at least 30 minutes a day
- Exercise daily (training for a 10k run in May)
- Don't use a second screen when watching TV with the family

That's all. I'll let you know what happens :) (2/2)

@BartV Sounds like healthy and acheivable goals!
