@vkc btw Kevin @kkarhan how do I get in touch with Mr Dankpods because he uncovered an extremely rare piece of cultural software on an iMac or iBook “nugget” he was reviewing — it happened to have a desktop app for Sydney 2000 Olympic Games that showed a tour of the inner-city souvenir store, a cultural monument that didn’t get the preservation you’d have today with Google Street View, or even websites with Wayback Machine

I signed up to his Patreon-type thing but his forum is so full of people and the tech stuff is only a side-hustle to his car teardown mechanic hobby
