We have tried to really limit the news we share with our kids, especially the scarier stuff, but our 6 year old knows enough of what is going on to be able to come up with this sign on her own, she made it for me to take to a protest.

Kids all across our city, including mine, organized their own walk out in protest of ICE on Friday

Here in California as well. I could hear them from my house out yelling Friday afternoon. They just walked out of class and did a spontaneous protest in front of the school.
