This is spot on. Those murders were an intentional message to other white people — and we know this because they told people to their faces in the days after: “Didn’t you learn your lesson? You want to end up like her?” etc

They think they are using a God-Given Right to enforce the race hierarchy by any means necessary.

Let's not ignore the patriarchal & gender hierarchy, either.

The KKK was about maintaining White Supremacy, but it was also a right-wing Protestant Christian organization equally committed to maintaining strict Puritanism and gender hierarchy. White Christian Nationalism is also at the heart of right-wing social & sexual morality politics, even if its wealthiest advocates attempted to use their individual privileges to escape the punishment they freely imposed on others.

Renee Good was targeted as much for -- and her murder retroactively justified by ICE simps for -- her being a lesbian in an non-traditional child-raising arrangement (having an equivalent "wife" rather than a "dominant" male husband), and for being defiantly non-compliant to "male authority", as she was for being a "race traitor" defending the rights and full humanity of Black and Brown skinned "illegal aliens".

The same deep hatred for "White traitors" is what fueled the repeated targeting of Alex Pretti.

His "Whiteness", far from protecting him from becoming a target of the Right, actually made him more worthy in the eyes of the White Nationalist Right of elimination as a "traitor" deciding to side with and defend those dark skinned "illegals" and "anchor babies" (and, ultimately, himself after he was assaulted personally by ICE thugs).

@blogdiva For those initially confused by this comment -- as I was -- I encourage you to read the WP page on Ignatiev, which explains it all. He was not anti-white, in the racist sense. He was anti-'whiteness', which he defined as socially constructed access to white priviledge. In other words, he was extremely anti-racist, and held that race itself is pseudo-scientific nonsense, entirely a social construction. Which I agree with.

His writings explain why race traitors get brutally punished.

@blogdiva wow so I feel really smart for having known this from the start… but I’m black, so I guess that makes sense I would.

I guess white people may need to know this information. The Turner Diaries also lays this out - execute enough white people to instill fear in the greater majority so that the rest won’t help fight back. Seems to me like this is a REALLY transparent tactic…but I guess not?

That would be true if Good and Pretti were the only victims, but we should not forget the other victims who were not white. In order to arrive to factual conclusions we shouldn't cherry pick facts.
