They just heavily gassed. Went thru my full face again. the medics were saying it was going through their masks too. There were very young children present. This is the road nearby ten minutes after the gassing started. The gas is still visible as I type this. Crowd regroup and energy is high. “Killing in the name of” now playing on loud speaker. More later nothing will upload not even pics

That was a gnarly wave of teargas. No luck uploading anything and need to conserve battery. It cleared out a lot of people but still a large crowd remains

Idk what’s going on today. I put in new filters this morning after they deployed HC last Saturday and gas was still seeping through my mask so I had to walk away. Both medics who helped me said it was getting in their masks as well.

@alissaazar most likely answer is a bad seal, and after hard use, that isn’t uncommon. We used to have to do “fit tests” in the hospital for our respirators, and I don’t “fit” any of them. The bitter crap they aerosolize into a hood over your head always snuck in one way or another. Almost every time I clean my duck coop with a 3M silicone respirator, there is still black dust along my nose when I’m done.

@mcnado I had brand new filters on but I think you’re right. Just tried it on again after decon and I think it’s just on the right side of my face no matter how much I tighten it or adjust it won’t seal properly there’s a little gap. Hopefully there’s a way to fix this really don’t want to have to buy a new mask

@alissaazar not sure what material that specific one is, but see what they say for cleaning. May have a bunch of residue on it that prevents a good seal. I have two “identical” 3M ones and one leaks like hell and I’ve never figured out why.
