You can test new tech ideas using the Seinfeld Test Would the product eliminate the plot of an episode? (Google maps, cell phones, paypal, battery packs) Good tech. Would the product inspire new Seinfeld plots? (NFTs, AI chatbots, crypto currency, blindboxes, metaverse land sales) Bad tech.

@stefan The takeaway: we must not inspire new Seinfeld episodes!
@stefan Love it! This would save a lot of time and money if used.
@stefan Where's the product to eliminate *all* seinfeld?
@stefan Making more Seinfeld = bad
@stefan paypal is good tech?

@maccruiskeen Well the idea is good, I suppose?

I don't think we have to take this post too literally/seriously.

@maccruiskeen @stefan an opaque bank with poor customer service and weird regulatory position? Nah

Instant inter-Bank transfers should be the default for all banks, it should not require a third-party app. Should be a requirement for a bank to be called a bank.

@maccruiskeen @stefan That's what my country (Brazil) did. PIX is operated by our Central Bank, is lightning fast, and mostly free of charge (Corp accounts pay a fee, but it is cheap).

The entire thing costs like 10M USD a year to run last I checked. For a country this big, it's an absolute bargain.

This has revolutionized things so much that Trump used it to justify sanctions (because it hurts Visa and MC).

@stefan
I’m not sure 🤔, this I don’t think is the way.
@EVDHmn Well I mostly thought it was just funny, I don't think it's meant to be taken too literally/seriously.
@stefan
Sorry, there was too much pop culture between sinefeld and now for me to know. I saw PayPal and that soured it for me if you want to try again some other day?
I didn’t mean to spoil the joke.
Genuinely sorry.😢
@stefan social media could fuel a few good episodes. Oh, George!
@stefan @debe be right back, going to vibe code up a loo paper delivery bot named Square2Spare 🤖 🧻
@stefan and is the tech kramer proof
@stefan Newman hates his Next Generation Delivery Vehicle, he convinces Kramer to help him spring his LLV from the scrap yard lot. They have trouble figuring out which is his, so they take one at random. Turns out the steering rack is fucked, and they crash it into a tree.

The end cap has them both in the hospital, Newman having to admit the NGDV isn't so bad. Kramer says "But it's a symbol of pride, of America, you really gonna give up on that?" And Newman says "It has A/C" then a laugh track
