@douglasvb I visited #Norway in September. Sailed on a Hurtigruten mail boat from #Kirkenes at the tippy-top of the country, down the stunning coast to #Bergen. With local ports of call and a couple of day-hikes. For most of the 3 weeks I was there, it was "Indian Summer" weather - unusual but locals were loving it. 50+ years of wisely state-invested oil & gas revenues have transformed the country's built and social #infrastructure. The egalitarianism of the #culture has echoes in #Minnesota
