@iFixit don't worry they are fixing that pesky loophole, you will no longer "buy" it... instead, subscribe or rent or lease or whatever keeps you from buying it.

@htpcnz @iFixit If we have no way to buy goods or services we should simply stop accepting their terms and stop buying from them... when you acquiesce to the rich and powerful they can take more steps to deprive you of choice and freedom. There are plenty of FOSS alternatives to most things these days and while you may sacrifice in UX quality that is a small price to pay IMO. There are also still a few well intentioned companies out there making hardware you can repair.
