Universität Oldenburg🧑🔬 An international team led by Professor Dr Christoph Lienau at the University of Oldenburg has now found a material that switches 10,000 times faster than current electronic devices.
⏩ In the journal Nature Nanotechnology, the team reports that a nanostructure consisting of silver and an atomically thin semiconductor layer can be transformed into an ultrafast switching mirror device that could function as an optical transistor.
