Harry WoodI like to copy photos off my phone onto my laptop. Apparently this isn't a normal thing to do nowadays. I know this because it's so unbelievably difficult to do!
Easier on windows maybe, but persuading a MacBook to copy photos off a google pixel phone is an absolute shit show of different ropey software. "Android File Transfer" worked on and off and then it didn't. I found a solution with "OpenMTP". Again, unreliable. Now it stopped working. I've found a command line approach. #macos #usability
