If I had a brain I would pull up an article on the pots and pans protests from Montreal last decade (I think the tactic was borrowed from Chile). Protesting by banging pots on your stoop, occasional unorganized marches. They couldn’t stop everyone, and it was a way of showing solidarity from the next street over.
