A visit to Musée de l’École de Nancy is de rigeur and well worth the time. The grounds are beautiful and the collection inside will spring you back 100 years.

Interesting to observe how often in the past beauty in the utilitarian sector could be afforded and employed. (Yes, even Bauhaus had a certain beauty to it; certainly elegance.)
