Someone told me, in an accusatory manner, that the difference between us was that I clearly believed in a social bible, and he did not believe in a social bible.

I asked if that meant he believed in an antisocial bible.

He was offended.

I'm okay with that.

@DulcimerLuthier Did he mean a socially influenced Bible (OT and NT)? At the least, the Septuagint was supposedly translated by 70 scholars, which looks like a small society to me.
@CharlesSites He was referring to an inclusive, loving interpretation of the bible, what some would refer to as being "woke" interpretation, rather than a highly judgmental fundamentalist interpretation.
