@Tutanota Nothing Company. I am currently writing this post from my Nothing Phone 2 (a).

@danish_akhtar7 @Tutanota except they they are pretty much not European. It is a Chinese company with American investors that designs the electronics and housing in china, builds the devices in china, program the firmware in China, and program the software in China. All of the technical job openings in China.

The CEO worked in the Chinese phone industry for 15 years and started a Chinese company.

They have a marketing HQ in the UK to dodge EU taxes and claim that they are a "European company"

@justenoughducks @Tutanota I am from India, and I bought my Nothing Phone, which was also manufactured in India. They have plants in India as well as in China. By the way, Carl Pei is proud that their product is "Designed in London." 🙂

@danish_akhtar7 @Tutanota it is interesting that he said that while there have been near zero technical jobs in London until the last year or so with a bit of software and product design (still 0 electronics)

But I guess he has a history of misleading at OnePlus like when he said "they are a small startup" without resources of the big names, while being a literal subsidy of the largest phone electronics producer in the world, with all of their resources and contacts.
