This Week in Plasma brings the news that Plasma 6.6 lets you set the priority of processes using a friendly graphical window, in 6.7 the "Brightness and Color" widget comes with a toggle to quickly switch between light and dark modes, and Frameworks 6.23 improves the touch-friendliness of open/save dialogs.

This UI now sparks the question if linux also has a separate GPU and/or networking Scheduler with similar priorities.

/me starting to google it...

I'd really like to see better support for dynamically adding brightness sliders for newly connected external displays that support DDC. In my experience any external monitor that wasnt connected when I logged in will not show up in the brightness and color widget if connected later. I also wasnt able yet to find a suitable workaround (sometimes, "systemctl restart --user plasma-powerdevil" works, but mostly not)

@kde @[email protected] This is potentially big for me, if my DAW isn't already at highest priority I can set it here.
