The Rapola hillfort in Valkeakoski is the largest of the Iron Age defences in Finland, covering 52,000 squaremetres. There is a splendid view across the Lake Vanajavesi. The oldest historical mention of the hillfort is from 1641 when it was pencilled on a map. #HillfortsWednesday
