If any PhD students are following your account, boosting would be appreciated.

Fellow PhD student: hello! โ€‹โ€‹ I hope you had a good Monday.

0) In which country are you pursuing your PhD?
1) What is the official duration of your PhD programme? Does it assume you already have a Master's?
2) How many academic credits (e.g., ECTS) are you required to get in order to complete your PhD?
3) If you are paid for TAing, can you estimate the number of teaching contact hours you need in order to supplement other sources of funding?

My union and Ph.D. committee have been asking for feedback, and I have a theory I'd like to test. Feel free to use private mentions if you want.

Edit: I am now using "academic credits" to make myself more understandable to non-EU people.
@mrundkvist #GoodMorning from Anstey! Today it is the Finnish School Saturday. We will learn about Finnish Easter and especially about the Easter witches. We will also translate a song.
@metalclassicist is currently in Trier, so #RomanSiteSaturday presents the Porta Nigra (black gate), a large Roman city gate in there. It is a monumental gateway representative of Hellenistic military architecture of the time. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site built after AD 170.
Now the talk I have waited in #IMSW50
I co-authored the historical paper in the International Mediterranean Survey Workshop. I gave my part on female participation from online. #Archaeology
@mrundkvist #GoodMorning from Anstey! Today we give a joint history paper in the International Mediterranean Survey Workshop. It is the 50th one. Then there is the AGM of the Archaeological Society of Finland. After that, resting and trying to heal from the tummy bug. A classic bout of noro virus.
Arbeia was a Roman fort in South Shields, Tyne & Wear, England, now partially reconstructed. It was first excavated in the 1870s. All modern buildings on the site were cleared in the 1970s. The fort was built in AD 129 and from 198 it was altered in plan. It was abandoned c. 400. #RomanFortThursday

A comparative multivariate analysis of spatial clustering in Neanderthal and anatomically modern human occupations
https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0047248426000199

Results provide the first multivariate evidence that while broad differences exist between Neanderthals and AMHs, elements of โ€˜modernโ€™ spatial behavior also emerged among Neanderthals, pointing to a more complex and overlapping processes of social and spatial organization in the Late Pleistocene.

On this day, 69 years ago, six countries took a leap of faith and signed the Treaty of Rome. ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ช ๐Ÿ‡ฉ๐Ÿ‡ช ๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น ๐Ÿ‡ฑ๐Ÿ‡บ ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฑ

They chose cooperation over division, laying the foundations for what would become todayโ€™s European Union.

From a shared market to shared ambitions, that vision has grown far beyond economics. Itโ€™s about connection, opportunity, and celebrating what makes each member country unique.

Different languages, cultures, and histories, one common journey.

United in diversity, then and now. ๐Ÿ’™
