Gonna retrofit my whole house with retro.

@VeroniqueB99

I'd like to order one Bretton Woods Trade System. It had a dud monetary system, going to jury rig a replacement, based off an original designers' bancor plans.

Those machines were also pretty power hungry. I would be interested in hybrid tech though. Best of all the era:s

@VeroniqueB99 I remember telling my then girlfriend "at least my ideas are less stupid than. The Juicero."

After I explained.what the Juicero was, she told me that actually a better juicer is a totally smart product, it just has to, you know, be truly better.

@VeroniqueB99 I truly tried my best, but after being unable to substantially improve on my father's juicer from circa 1970, i concluded it wouldn't happen without help from very expensive experts in fluid dynamics.

Attached: 1 image Not sure if I’m seeking permanence wherever I can or just a solid good product (which is increasingly difficult to find), but I do believe and hope this screwdriver will last the rest of my life. It’s an updated design of an old expired patent and I’ve seen people disparagingly call it a fidget tool but it really works very well for me! πŸͺ› #BuyItForLife #PlasticFree

@VeroniqueB99

it would fail miserably!

they would be expensive.
they would not have flashy features.

i know, what you are gonna say but look at the decisions you made and most people made, when there is a product on the shelf nearly half the price.

we already have phones like that: #fairphone
we always did have washing machines, dryers, dishwashers, vacuums like that: #miele
cars (a bit ago, but still): #toyota

yet we do not see those brands leading the sales. quality shows on the price tag, but not on the feature list.

we can switch to food, same thing there. Organically grown or "bio" in Germany is loved when asked, but later not picked.

I remember a survey in front of a german store, where people were asked to rank their priority for organic produce. It was above 90 % . Yet less than 20% of the items actually bought were organic.

so yeah, great idea, bad business.πŸ₯΄
