@skyfaller no! not my goal! the vast majority of door-knockers are pretty simple affairs, which is why I was so gobsmacked to find all these other crazy things!

I like yours -- classic shape mixed with modern metal choice. incorrporating the peep hole is unusual, gives a Wall-E vibe. :))

@skyfaller I think I've covered a huge number of blocks to find the few dozen that I've found. really, I get jealous of people with neat old doors too. but not every house needs ever bell and whistle!

@Pixley I know! that was one of my early finds and may have inspired me to pay more attention on all my other dog walks. (the dog is *very* patient with all the interruptions.)
