This is what makes me so sad. It’s not that the icons have changed, but that they have straight up *devolved* over the years.
obrhoff@tuomas_h In the past, we had Gameboy games written for the Gameboy alone.
Now, AAA games need to run on big PCs down to the handheld devices. We streamlined everything down, and these icons just feel like another victim of it.
Not sure where this culture came from despite cost savings, since it feels more like a obsession now.
