I've been wanting to start a collection of retro computers, however so far my search in the real world has not been successful. Does anyone know of any other ways to find places that have them? I know eBay is an option but people on eBay overcharge and my funds are limited.

#retrocomputing

@Eemon depends on where you live, but Facebook marketplace can be a good spot. Forums like Vogons can be a good option too to talk to like minded people, you'll often find people looking to clear up some space.
@hohokam Huge thank you I will check those out!

@Eemon

Thrift stores often have stuff but it's chance. You can also look for a group that does retro computing and see if anyone there has any spare systems to sell (they often do and the prices are more reasonable).

@Eemon yeah I'd say Goodwill, even maybe Craigslist or groups on the dreaded Facebook marketplace. Estate, garage sales- and yeah, there's probably even local groups and meetups.
@Eemon Is there an e-waste recycler in your area? Sometimes they have a storefront and sell refurbished/old machines.
@psf Good idea. There are a couple in my area I can check out
