I hate Trump & MAGA for lots of reasons but one of the biggest is how they make me feel guilty for concerning myself with my own stupid problems.

How can I possibly complain online about my work
day when a woman in MN just needlessly lost her life at the hands of his ICE goons? What right do I have to gripe about mineuta like my recent LEGO challenges when Venezuela is invaded, Greenland becomes an authoritarian pawn & NATO is threatened?

There’s no escaping. No normal. I hate him so much.

@gedeonm i know what you mean, its just a different kind of problem tho so i think its ok for anyone to complain about anything they want. sure the scale or how many people are affected or whatever is not quite the same, but i dont think that means you are not allowed to complain about "smaller" things, its still affecting YOU

@manolo I appreciate that. In the end we must all do what we must to remain sane. It’s just that I’m angry at them for making me feel this way, for making me doubt myself. It sucks.

@gedeonm I think the difference is people I follow like you, who DO care but also have a life, and then other nerds I follow who simply never acknowledge reality or seemingly care about it whatsoever.

If you complain about something in your life, I give you leeway and assume you have the right to, because I've seen the things you pay attention to and care about. Some other people, it does grate on me when they seem to live in a bubble and have for years and years.

You're a good person who cares, and also you're well within your rights to be upset at things in your own life too. I appreciate your presence and contributions here.

@Natsura He’s one of the most dangerous people to have ever lived and he’s surrounded himself with truly evil human beings like Steven Miller. The worst part though is that we did this to ourselves. I have trouble with this fact every single day.
