This is the 2018 Imerovigli village, one of the 7 Villages of Sigalas' Assyrtiko terroir exercise on Santorini. It's beautiful and evolves with air and warmth. In a good place,it's ripe and full, surprisingly fruity for the grape, perfectly balanced and tasty.

The back label suggests it can age for 7 years. Giggle.This is almost painfully young at times in terms of its fruit (tho' it's not an intense powerhouse).It has a long way to go. Seven years is more like its beginning than its end.
