#Mastodon #Android clients update: I've settled on Subway Tooter for now. AndStatus, while functional, was a little too bare bones for me (and often took ages to refresh feeds). Tusky still has the best UI, but has too many crashes.

I've also have switched my Android default browser to Firefox Focus (Firefox Klar here), and its no frills "just show me that web page, without ads" functionality combines quite well with Subway Tooter. Not a "get work done" browser though, too basic for that.

@galaxis Hey, can I ask you something? I use both Subway Tooter and Tusky for now until I decide which one suits me best. Until now I cannot make the notifications work. Although enabled, they (apps) do not actually notify me! Did you experienced any similar problem?

@aleky Sorry, I don't know. In Subway Tooter, notifications just worked for me without any additional configuration (that I remember, at least).

In Tusky, I have disabled them altogether in the client preferences, so I have no idea if they would work.
