That's awesome! I have had similar results with Jellyfin on Mint.
I run Steam on Fedora and it works now, but i wouldn't set it up like that again.
So far i think Mint and Ubuntu are great for dedicated set top boxes (and Fedora may be ok if you want to interact with a desktop first)
@RnDanger @gamingonlinux I mean most of it is just familiarity; I've been running ubuntu as my primary desktop since '12, and I've been running nothing but ubuntu since '18 after windows dis-respected my partition table on an update and blew my linux install away.
I just don't have any reasons to try other distros anymore, and haven't for a long time.
Proton obviously has been amazing for gaming but a big part of the reason I was able to switch in '18 was war thunder.

Oh yeah, Windows is disrespectful for sure. They really hate that we would consider not giving them our computer data, and they've pulled some famous dirty tricks to convince people in the past
That's why i don't trust Windows with Linux, it has to have a separate machine 🫠
Someone actually made a Linux version with more than Linux nerds in mind and it did well. I'm absolutely shocked.
