During my morning coffee I took apart the Electrolux coffee machine (with timer!) I gave @juliette for her last birthday.

It seems well made for the price point and materials. No weird glue spots or brittle seals.

Critical custom parts (notably the glass carafe.. #LittleHandOfDoom) are available from the manufacturer. It otherwise uses fairly common parts (for the internal buttons on the circuit board.

I'm quite certain that I can fix it easily if something breaks.

Points for Electrolux :)

There's no tiny spaceship anywhere to be found btw. How much fun would that have been!

I'm going to commit to the promise that from now on every item I fix will end up with a little spaceship inside.
