Programming agents—not boring this time 🤞🏻—open up a whole new medium of delusion, which means, yeah, a new type of guy. We’re gonna print these fellas and it’s gonna be weird.

I found one example of a modern Time Cube guy. He built a (seemingly-working) filesystem in Rust that claims to collapse the entropy of sentience such that it is just an artifact of compression (seemingly-delusional). Building a working file system used to be a signal of something. Well, except…

You can get through a lot of the README and just wave stuff away as ML-speak you don’t understand. I don’t know Rust or file system design or entropy. Part of some OS I’ve never heard of, sure, lots of those. Benchmarks, neat. You can almost miss it. Almost be like, yeah, cool, good job man, AI rocks.

“What is life?”? Alright, better check out this full theory PDF called “The Coherence Paradigm” at some research website. Oh, come on. “The Coherence Paradigm: The Universal Law of Existence and The Axiom of Engineering Necessity.” 50 pages of this.

@kyle Is *this* what two hundred billion dollars looks like?
@kyle This was wild. Thanks for sharing.
@kyle I’m sure this will be limited to file system implementations we should be fine

@kyle This has the same vibes as TempleOS
