Jerry š¦šš¦Iām thinking about buying one of the harnesses for my dog that will let me support her back end while we walk and on stairs. I am a little skeptical on how comfortable it is though. Anyone have experience using one of those with their elderly dogs?
RDilling@jerry We used one for one of our previos dogs. (Golden retriever about 75 lbs). It helped him a lot. Only took a short walk to get him (and us) acclimated to using it. But it did take a few walks to get it adjusted properly. If they need the assistance it works great and improves their quality of life.
Might have it laying around somewhere if you want the brand name. (We are serial adopters of senior golden retrievers. So we tend to keep those kind of things around)
