Dominik@deane The site got exactly what it deserved, the last decade or so it was very displeasant to interact with.
You can only close a question as a duplicate of a 15 year old mildly related question so many times before everyone's happy that it dies.
Combine that with Google Search turning into pure shit and SO did not have many chances of survival.
