The problem is not "learned helplessness". The problem is management-by-buzzword looking at only the next quarter's profits

Anyone doing anything else is being laid off or not hired

@davidr I had not considered it from a corporate world but that makes scene. Iv heard its tuff out there with management looking to cut costs with AI. I'm looking for a internship and stuggling

I was only looking at it from my uni perspective where iv found if people stopped to think they can work it out but jump to AI before trying to solve a issue. Maybe I took to much of a pessimistic view.
