So when a cop shoulder checked some Black football players from South Carolina who’d just scored an 80 yard touchdown against the Aggies, everyone was outraged, but only people outside the #Yeehawdist territory expected the cop would be punished, or even named.

And yeah, the establishment closed ranks around the cop and declined to press assault charges because it would embarrass the officer.
