Al PuzzuoliI've been a very happy user of Bitwarden for several years but recently, I've begun noticing an a11y issue that's really inconvenient. I'm using JAWS and the Chrome Browser. I bring up the Bitwarden extension and press New to create a new item. Focus lands on the Folder item type, and I can't select any other item type by using the arrow keys. Anyone else seeing this? @bitwarden

@bitwarden just ran into this issue again today. I understand these things take time, but please give this a bump if possible. There are often times when Bitwarden does not automatically pop the save password dialog. When that happens, I am unable to easily add my credentials. If this keeps up much longer I'll be forced to start exploring other options.
@bitwarden Hello, Any update on this issue? When using the Bitwarden Chrome extension to add an item, it is currently not possible to select the item type via the keyboard. This is a moderate to severe issue for those who can't use a mouse. I imagine this should be relatively easy to fix. Yet I first reported it last December and after your initial acknowledgement, there have been no further status updates. Could you please give this issue a bump? Thanks!#bvitwarden #a11y
Elena Brescacin@alpuzz @bitwarden I confirm the issue: screen reader notifies the bitwarden window popping up, but it's unreachable via keyboard directly. You should try some magic work-arounds with virtual cursor.
@elettrona @bitwarden Thanks. The exact issue I'm having is as follows. 1. Bring up the Bitwarden extension with the keyboard shortcut, mine is ctrl+b. 2. Shift+Tab to the New button.3. The menu will appear. JAWS says "Folder". 4. If I try to select an item other than Folder using the arrow keys, the selection doesn't seem to change. Pressing enter, even after arrowing a couple times still brings up the new folder dialog.
@alpuzz @bitwarden For me the folders worked with alt plus down arrow to open the list box
Pitermach@elettrona @alpuzz @bitwarden I can't reproduce this here with bitwarden on firefox with NVDA, after pressing new I can arrow up and down through the menu no problem. Perhaps this is a JAWS or chrome specific issue?
