@bryan I mean even beyond any historical inaccuracy, it was just objectively bad. Why go to the trouble of having Joaquin Phoenix be in your movie and then have the worst, most boring and predictable dialogue and pair him with a Josephine where there’s obviously no chemistry, and she’s supposed to be the love of his life. They are just out there walking around in costumes. That was not acting, and that movie sucked. I don’t care if it was Ridley Scott or whose name was on it. #Napolean #Movies

I agree, and I’ve also not seen the movie (yet). I’ve watched some extended clips on YouTube. I need to be in a particular mood to hate-watch a movie. 😊

@bryan Me too, that’s why I waited so long. I really tried to like it. It is beautiful and it’s more than eye candy, which was why I was so disappointed with the stilted dialogue and flat characters.
