GFDmy old friends have finally finished their herculean task of releasing the video game UNBEATABLE. i spent all day yesterday playing it with another mutual friend. i have a lot of thoughts about this but the biggest one is that i am so, so proud of RJ and Rachel and Richard and everyone else involved. they’ve come so far. it is so very much a game that RJ and Rachel made. which is a good thing but also just really funny for me specifically, being able to pick out the RJ parts and the Rachel parts
https://www.unbeatablegame.com please play this rhythm adventure game called UNBEATABLE. i promise it’s good. it’s Really good. it’s a bit rough around the edges but it’s all there and it Works and it’s so, so hard to make a video game, especially one this big. it’s so much bigger than i expected. UNBEATABLE constantly gets better the more i play it and there’s so much to love about it. there’s so much love poured into it. it’s truly something special. it could be your new obsession. it’s spectacular.
yeah i am never going to shut up about UNBEATABLE. you need to play it. everyone does. i actually am declaring it required reading because i truly believe its execution in some aspects is otherwise unparalleled within the medium. it’s one of my favourite games ever. even if you don’t love rhythm games, just turn down the difficulty or turn on the assist mode and play through the story anyway because god damn is it ever worth it. video games this special are so rare. https://www.unbeatablegame.com
