@lizmonster does "a Central Corps novel" mean context is needed before picking this one up?

@aburka I intend for them all to be readable as standalones, and I have had some people say they've come to CoW cold and enjoyed it. The other books do provide some historical context, but they're more episodic advetures with an overarching political/interpersonal plot than an integrated series. (No cliffhangers!)

TL;DR: I'm of course going to tell you you're OK starting with this one. 🙂 But everyone is different. If your favorite retailer offers a sample of the ebook, I recommend starting with that, and seeing how it reads for you.
