"A vehicle displaying a #Chanukah mobile billboard was set alight in the driveway of a #Jewish family home in St Kilda East in the early hours of #Christmas Day, forcing the evacuation of young children.

#Victoria Police were called to the Balaclava Road property at approximately 2.50am on Thursday, 25 December, after a car was engulfed in flames.

No one was inside the vehicle at the time, but the occupants of the house, including young children, were evacuated as a precaution."

I saw a post on the Fediverse about "Why is Australia so concerned about Jews' feelings when there are real problems."

Because apparently murder and firebombing of Jews is like a stubbed toe or dropping your ice cream.

@dukepaaron @serge I think like Oct 7, the massacre is catalyzing all the antisemitism brewing in Australia into a new level of intensity. It’s like Jews get murdered and people get enraged at Jews. It makes me rethink Dara Horn’s book title. People stopped pretending they love dead Jews is a bit cumbersome though.
