This is a silly movie. But in a good way. Partner loves the obvious camp. The characters and story are well done. Really enjoyed this one.

There is a sequel! Detective K:Secret of the Living Dead! And the baddie is Lee Min Ki! And it's available on YouTube! That's Christmas Eve movie night sorted!
The black in front white in back outfits so they can rotate and blend into different walls... 🤣
This is a bit more serious than movie 1. Still, our heroes are ridiculous. And Lee Min Ki does a very good evil vampire. 🧛♂️
Cones of Shame make repeat appearances, a nice nod to the doggie subplot of the first movie.
I love how everything they seem to know about vampires is so very, very not working. Crosses? Nothing. Sunlight? Irrelevant. Silver? Well, someone would have to hit something before they can find out. Like Partner pointed out, "These are the Joseon version of Stormtroopers."
Twist! Evil and not evil may be reversed!
Lee Min Ki as Joseon nobleman is not a look I expected. It works though.
Kim Bum is also amazing as the stoic-potential-baddie in this.
Partner almost didn't recognise him from other shows we have seen him in.
Lee Min Ki with long hair is really hot, actually.
Then we are reminded that good and evil are mixed up and our vampires are both justified in what they do, and also terrible for it.
Definitely more serious than the first, but still silly enough. Loved seeing Lee Min Ki, Kim Bum, and Kim Ji Won in this.
Would definitely look for more Detecive K in the future.
