Proton CEO Andy Yen is a libertarian tech bro who supports Trump. Tech bros are a societal cancer, willing to kill the many to benefit the few.
I was also offended by his anti democrat tweet but its a stretch to call him pro trump. There is a medium article going over his politics in the last decade and its pretty much entirely liberal left.

Do you have any other sources beyond this one tweet (the very same one the poster you replied to mentioned)?

I’m genuinely curious, because I haven’t heard much about him beyond that

This article goes over both sides. I was super pissed off at Andy’s tweet and response but hes not MAGA for it. The problem I had was that he was dumb enough not to be 100% opposed to Trump and dumb enough to try and give him the benefit of the doubt.

Does Proton really support Trump? A deeper analysis (and surprising findings)

Recently, allegations surfaced on Reddit that Proton (or at least Proton’s CEO) supports Trump. Hillary Keverenge from Tech-Issues Today…

Benefit of doubt for hitler is pretty nazi.
Are all the people who said the Department of War name change was good because it finally reflects reality, also nazis? When the broken clock is right do we have to pretend it’s not or we are nazis?

No. That’s a pretty bad example, and very abstract in the face of state-funded kidnappings and the gutting of state servants and service offices.

You can sit in your toffit until you figure a moral compass out for yourself.

I know which direction to punch. (up.)

How is this different then? We have a progressive guy who keeps going against conservatives and against big tech, and liked when the broken clock Trump did something good for once and appointed an anti big tech person to head an anti trust division. How is this different from people liking the Department of War name change?
