#American businessman and philanthropist #Howard_Buffett, together with #Ukraine’s special police unit #White_Angel, visited frontline areas of #Kupiansk in #Kharkiv region, where constant shelling continues and civilians are being evacuated.
Thanks to armoured vehicles provided by the #Howard_G_Buffett_Foundation, police officers were able to evacuate more than 200 people from dangerous areas of #Kharkiv region.
During the visit, Mr. #Buffett personally took part in evacuation efforts and witnessed firsthand the devastating consequences of #Russia’s war against #Ukraine.
As a sign of gratitude and partnership, police officers presented Mr. #Buffett with the unit’s shoulder patch - a symbol of trust, unity, and a shared commitment to saving human lives, the National Police said.
